SIETAR Conference and Workshops 2006
"Beliefs, Attitudes and Intercultural Interaction and Communication"
Middlesex University Business School - London
9th September 2006

With more than 3,000 members, the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) is the world's largest interdisciplinary network for academics, students and professionals working in the field of intercultural communication.

The main purpose of SIETAR is to encourage and support the development and application of values, knowledge and skills that promote and reinforce beneficial and long-lasting intercultural and inter-ethnic relations at the individual, group, organisation and community levels.

ÊThis year SIETAR UK, in conjunction with SIETAR Europa, is organising a conference in September 2006 on the theme of "Beliefs, Attitudes and Intercultural Interaction and CommunicationÓ. Papers and workshop proposals are invited which explore this theme either from an empirical research perspective or from a practical training perspective. Possible foci could include:

- Religion and resulting attitudes/practices
- Ethics and business practice

- Ideology and Education
- ...

The above is not intended to be exhaustive; we welcome other topics associated with the main theme.
